Booklet Printing BrisbaneBound, Stitched and Print-Ready

Put a bound booklet in a buyer's hands and your pitch stops reading like a throwaway leaflet.

The short version

That is why booklet printing brisbane businesses, event teams and agencies book the Brendale workshop to design, print and bind in one place. You brief the pages, the run size and the binding.

We handle the rest, from print-ready setup to the finished, stitched stack. Common jobs are product catalogues, service directories, event programs, training manuals, pitch decks, annual reports and lookbooks.

Runs go from 50 for a pitch book up to 5,000 for a national catalogue. Turnaround is 5 to 8 business days once artwork is approved, faster on shorter digital runs.

30 years running the Brendale workshop, 4.9 stars from 134 Google reviews. Print is what built the studio's name in the first place.

Booklets off the finishing machine

Binding formats we run every week

The binding decides how a booklet reads and how long it survives on a desk, so we start there.

Not sure which format matches the page count and use?

Ask, and we recommend the binding on the brief.

Saddle-stitched for speed and value. Folded and stapled through the spine. Fast, cost-effective, ideal for 8 to 64 pages. Programs, catalogues, event guides, magazines.

Perfect-bound for a real book feel. Glued flat spine you can print on. Ideal for 40 to 300 pages. Annual reports, portfolio books, thick catalogues, lookbooks.

Wire-bound to lie flat. Twin-loop wire spine that opens flat. Best for manuals, workbooks, training guides and cookbooks where the reader needs both hands free.

Booklet design Brisbane, in-house

No layout yet?

Our in-house team takes booklet design brisbane briefs from raw content to press-ready.

Cover, section dividers, image treatment, typography, page grid and a print-ready file with correct margins and bleed, all handled here.

Design turnaround is 5 to 10 business days depending on page count and content readiness. Rebrands, style-guided briefs and blank-slate starts all work, so send the brand assets you have and we design within them.

Once the file signs off, print starts next door. No handoff to a third-party printer, no colour drift, no time lost in the middle.

Paper, cover stocks and finishes

How a booklet feels in the hand comes down to a stack of paper choices, and the right ones make it look like money well spent.

Ask for a sample pack and we post blanks across common cover-and-inner combinations, so you feel the choice before signing off.

Inner pages. 100 to 170 gsm silk or gloss for standard catalogues and programs. Uncoated 100 to 120 gsm for text-heavy manuals and reports.

Covers. 250 to 350 gsm cover stock, matte or gloss laminated. Soft-touch laminate on premium jobs. Spot UV on cover graphics for extra pop.

Optional finishes. Foil stamping, embossing, French folds on cover pages, ribbon markers for premium bound books.

Who books booklet printing

Three buyers come back on a schedule, and the booklet earns its keep every time.

Product-led SMBs printing catalogues twice a year to seed retailers and wholesale buyers. Event organisers running conferences, expos and school programs where a printed booklet is the run-of-show.

Marketing agencies preparing pitch books and lookbooks for their own new-business runs or for client campaigns.

If the booklet job pairs with matching business cards, brochures, banners or event signage, bundle the quote. Same designer, same press, same delivery date.

FAQs

Pricing depends on page count, binding format, paper stock, cover finish and run size. A 100-run 20-page saddle-stitched program sits in a very different band to a 2,000-run 120-page perfect-bound catalogue with a soft-touch cover. Send the specs, and we come back with a fixed quote in a business day.

Digital printing makes short runs of 50 to 100 units workable, without the plate cost that offset carries. Handy for pitch books, board reports and small event programs. Offset becomes cost-effective from about 500 units up.

Saddle-stitched works up to 64 pages and is faster and cheaper. Perfect-bound starts to make sense from 40 pages up and is the format most people picture when they think "book". If page count sits in the overlap, we recommend based on how the booklet will be used.

Yes. Booklet design brisbane briefs run through the in-house design team. Cover, section dividers, image treatment, page grid and print-ready file preparation are all handled before the job hits the press. Rebrands and style-guided briefs both work.

Standard digital runs turn around in 5 to 8 business days from artwork sign-off. Longer offset runs on volume take 8 to 12 business days. If we are doing the design as well, add 5 to 10 days for layout, revisions and sign-off.

A print-ready PDF with correct bleed and trim is the fastest path to press. InDesign packaged files (INDD plus linked assets plus fonts) work too. If pages are still in Word, Canva or PowerPoint, the in-house design team can rebuild to press standard. Send what you have, and we advise on the next step.
