The short version
Magnetic signs brisbane sole traders and part-time operators book for exactly that. ProCloud prints and cuts vehicle magnetic signs from the Brendale workshop.
Magnetic signs are printed vinyl bonded to a flexible magnetic sheet. Place them on the doors, tailgate or side panels when the vehicle is working, and lift them off cleanly when it is not.

What magnetic signs are for
They are the right pick when a permanent vinyl job does not suit the vehicle, or the vehicle is not yours to decal.
Vehicle magnetic signs cover the common cases: lease vehicles where the lessor forbids permanent decals, second cars used part-time for work, weekend market and event trading, real estate open home signs, and short-term project vehicles.
The magnetic sheet holds firmly to any ferrous panel. That means the doors and rear panels on most utes, vans and cars.
It will not hold on aluminium panels, plastic bumpers, glass or moulded body kits. ProCloud confirms the vehicle panels are magnet-compatible at booking.
You get the same print quality as printed vehicle graphics. Full-colour logo, phone number, service list, website.
Cast vinyl face, laminated, bonded to the magnetic backing.
When to pick magnetic over vinyl
Pick magnetic when the vehicle needs to look plain at the end of the day, or the lease agreement rules out anything permanent.
Magnetic signs also suit swapping between work and personal use, or trialling vehicle signage before committing to lettering or a wrap.
Pick vinyl lettering or vehicle graphics when the vehicle stays branded seven days a week, when you want the sign to survive high-pressure car washes and highway driving without lifting risk, or when the panel shape does not suit a flat magnetic sheet.
For long-term work vehicles, permanent vinyl usually works out cheaper over the life of the vehicle. Magnetic sheets need replacing every 12 to 24 months in typical outdoor use.
Cast vinyl lasts 5 to 7 years.

Why buyers reorder magnetic signs
The logo still reads at the traffic lights after a full working season, because a magnetic sign here runs through the same colour-managed workflow that prints our wraps and graphics.
Same cast vinyl face. Same lamination.
No fade to a washed-out version of your brand by month three.
The magnetic sheet is heavy grade so it holds on the door of a moving vehicle at highway speed. Cheaper magnetic sheets thin and lift over time, so ProCloud specs the heavier grade as standard.
30 years in the trade, 4.9 stars across 134 Google reviews. The install crew has fitted magnetic signs on most work vehicle body styles sold in Australia.

FAQs
Magnetic signs are priced per pair (two door panels) or per set. Cost depends on the sign size, print complexity and how many sets you order. Small operators typically order one pair for the doors. Send a photo of the vehicle for a fixed quote.
Vehicle magnetic signs lift off cleanly on paint that is in good condition. What can cause paint damage is leaving the signs on the same spot for months without lifting them, which traps dirt and moisture. Lift, wipe the panel and reposition weekly.
Only on ferrous panels. Steel doors, steel rear panels and steel tailgates hold the magnet. Aluminium panels (common on some newer utes and vans), plastic bumpers, glass and body kits will not hold. ProCloud confirms the vehicle at booking.
The magnetic sheet typically lasts 12 to 24 months in outdoor use. The printed vinyl face lasts longer, but the magnet weakens over time. When it starts sliding, replace the sheet. The design stays on file so reprints are quick.
Yes, provided the sheet is placed flat on a clean, dry panel. ProCloud uses heavier-grade magnetic material that holds at highway speed. If the vehicle is going into wind or a high-pressure car wash regularly, remove the sign first.
Yes. ProCloud keeps the artwork on file. When you want to upgrade the second vehicle to permanent vehicle lettering or a partial wrap, the same design flows straight through.
