Hilux Signage in Brisbane by ProCloud Creative
A Hilux with sharp signage looks like a business that turns up on time, so make yours earn its keep at every red light.
The short version
Hilux signage designed in the studio, printed on premium vinyl and installed on your ute at our Brendale workshop by an in-house crew, backed by 30 years in the trade and 4.9 stars across 134 Google reviews.
The Toyota Hilux is the ute we see most often at ProCloud.
Plumbers, sparkies, landscapers, chippies, HVAC techs and site supervisors roll in with everything from a fresh SR5 dual-cab to a decade-old Workmate single-cab that has already had two rebranding rounds.
Each Hilux generation carries different panel geometry, and each cab configuration changes what fits where.
That is the difference between signage that reads clean from a passing car and signage that gets chopped short at the door skin. You bring the ute.
We handle artwork, print, install and cure time, plus same-day removal of any old graphics if you are rolling out of an earlier brand.

Panels a Hilux wraps cleanly
Four panels do most of the work: door skins, bonnet flats, tailgate faces and tub sides. That is where your logo, phone number and website belong, because they hold vinyl and read clean.
The rear quarter panels behind the tub carry a shallow crease that most viewers still read through, so those suit a repeating brand mark or a coloured wash.
Front guard panels are shorter, so treat them as accents rather than the main billboard.
Panels we plan around, not across: window rubbers, the plastic front bumper valance below the numberplate, and the rear step area.
Vinyl does not sit long-term on those parts, and pulling it up later leaves adhesive marks on paint.

Hilux signage by cab type
The cab you run decides where your biggest signage lands.
A single-cab Hilux gives you the longest tray and the shortest cabin, so most of your visible signage sits on the tray sides and rear cab panel, ideal for landscaping, plumbing and civil crews who need a bold roadside presence.
Extra-cab (SmartCab on Hilux) adds a short jump seat behind the driver and a rear-hinged half-door.
The half-door creates a natural stop point, and the design either flows across the whole side or breaks cleanly at the seam.
Dual-cab is the most common on Brisbane roads, with four full-sized doors and a shorter tub.
Signage typically runs door-to-door across the side, then the tailgate carries the closing message like ABN, licence number or after-hours phone.
Running an alloy tray or an aluminium canopy on the back instead of the factory tub?
Canopy sides usually become the biggest single canvas, and we can either print vinyl direct or laminate over factory canopy paintwork.

Common Hilux jobs at Brendale
Four Hilux jobs from recent weeks through the shop:
Most single Hilux jobs take 5 to 10 business days from artwork sign-off. Fleet rollouts scale with vehicle count and how many trucks you can spare per week.
Plumbers and gas fitters on dual-cabs with rear canopies: full side wraps carrying brand, phone and licence, tailgate reserved for the services list.
Landscape crews on single-cab Workmates with alloy trays: tray-side signage across both flanks, magnetic door signs so the daily driver can be kept clean when needed.
Site supervisors on SR5 dual-cabs: a half-wrap with logo across the front doors, brand colour running across the tub, tailgate for the parent company mark.
Fleet rollouts where three, five or ten Hiluxes need to match: artwork approved once, install staggered so vehicles keep working.
FAQs
Hilux signage pricing comes down to cab type, coverage and vinyl grade. Door signs and tailgate lettering start around a few hundred dollars per vehicle. A half-wrap with logo, brand colour and contact details sits in the $1,500 to $3,000 range, and a full wrap that changes the colour of the ute typically runs $4,500 to $7,500. Run the Vehicle Wrap Cost Calculator for a range built around your setup.
A single Hilux runs 5 to 10 business days from artwork sign-off, depending on how detailed the design is and whether you have a tub, alloy tray or canopy. Fleet installs are staged so you always have vehicles on the road.
Yes. Factory tubs, alloy trays and aluminium canopies all take vinyl signage. Trays and canopies usually become the biggest visible canvas, so we plan artwork to sit best on those surfaces rather than fight the door creases.
Yes. Vinyl signage is designed to be removable, and the workshop pulls old graphics cleanly for a resale or lease return. Book removal on its own, or bundle it with a fresh install for the next brand.
Body panels are the same across the trim grades, so signage plans hold across SR, SR5, Rogue X and Rugged X. Where trims differ is optional sports bars, tub liners and side steps, and we work those into the design brief so the layout sits around them.
The workshop is at Unit 10, 193 South Pine Road, Brendale. Most installs happen here so the vinyl cures in a controlled environment. On-site installs across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Logan are available for fleet rollouts and jobs that cannot leave the depot.
