Triton Signage in Brisbane by ProCloud Creative

You bought the Triton to keep the overheads down, so make it advertise for you too.

The short version

Triton signage turns a value work truck into a rolling billboard for roughly the same spend as branding a pricier ute. Designed, printed and installed at ProCloud's Brendale workshop by an in-house crew.

30 years in the trade, 4.9 stars across 134 Google reviews. The Mitsubishi Triton is a value-first ute.

Sole-trader plumbers, sparkies, painters, gardeners and small teams pick it when they need one work truck and one budget. That price advantage carries over to the branding.

The 2024+ MV Triton has a much flatter door skin than the older MQ and MR generations.

On an older Triton the design works with the curves, and on the new MV the flatter panels give you more room to place large logos without fighting body creases. You bring the Triton.

The door skins carry the message, and on the newer body you can go big without fighting a single crease.

MV Triton (2024 onward) has some of the flattest door skins in the mid-size ute segment, so the front and rear doors carry brand marks large while the bonnet and tailgate act as clean secondary panels for logo and contact.

Older MR and MQ Tritons have a rounder shoulder line and a shallower door crease.

Cross-panel graphics still work, but the design usually breaks intentionally at the door seam rather than running a straight line through it.

Tub sides on either generation have a mild waist crease. Solid brand colour reads well across it, and any lettering sits above the crease line rather than through it.

Panels we plan around, not over: the plastic front bumper valance, arch flare mouldings and the rear step. Those surfaces do not hold long-term vinyl without a specific laminate grade.

Cab variants and tray options

Tell us the cab and tray and we start the layout from your biggest usable panel. Club-cab and double-cab are the two Triton variants most Brisbane tradies buy, with single-cab available but rarer on the road.

Club-cab has a rear-hinged half-door and short jump seats. Signage either flows across the door seam or breaks at it, and most sole-trader jobs flow across so the brand reads as one piece from any angle.

Double-cab is the volume trim. Full-height door graphics on both sides, tailgate for the closing detail (ABN, licence, callout number, after-hours phone).

Alloy trays and aluminium canopies are common on Triton club-cabs used by small trades. The tray sides become the biggest single canvas, and layout planning starts from the tray rather than the cab.

Common Triton jobs at the workshop

Most Triton jobs run 5 to 10 business days from artwork sign-off.

Sole-trader plumbers and sparkies on GLX+ and GLS double-cabs with canopies. Full door signage, canopy-side branding, tailgate for services and licence.

Painters and floor layers on club-cabs with alloy trays. Simple door and tray-side branding kept clean because these vehicles get loaded and unloaded daily.

Landscape and gardening crews on club-cabs with cage trailers. Matched signage across the ute and the trailer so the brand reads whether the ute is towing or parked.

Small delivery and courier operators on GLX and GLX+ double-cabs. Half-wrap with strong colour blocks that read at speed on highway runs.

FAQs

Mitsubishi Triton signage pricing depends on cab type, coverage and vinyl grade. Door signs and tailgate lettering start around a few hundred dollars per vehicle. A half-wrap with logo, brand colour and contact details sits in the $1,500 to $2,800 range. A full wrap that changes the colour of the ute typically runs $4,000 to $7,000. Yes. Both generations get wrapped through the ProCloud workshop. The MV has flatter door skins so full-panel graphics sit cleaner. Older MR and MQ Tritons have a rounder shoulder line, so the design usually breaks at the door seam rather than running through it.

Slightly, depending on coverage. Triton door skins are a bit smaller than Hilux and Ranger, so a full wrap uses slightly less vinyl. On door signs and tailgate lettering the cost is very close.

Yes. Both cab types work well. On a club-cab the rear-hinged half-door either flows through the design or acts as a break. On a double-cab the signage runs door-to-door across the side.

Yes. Colour and print profiles are locked once so the ute, trailer and any support vehicle read as one brand. Most landscaping and cleaning jobs come through with a matching trailer request.
