Extra Cab Ute SignageWraps and Graphics for Space Cab and King Cab Utes
That long tray behind a smaller cab is prime brand real estate, and it does the heavy lifting cheaply.
The short version
Extra cab ute signage sized for the in-between body style, priced, printed and installed at ProCloud's Brendale workshop. Manufacturers call this configuration different names.
Toyota runs "extra cab" on the Hilux, Ford runs "super cab" on the
Ranger, Nissan runs "king cab" on the
Navara.
All three describe the same body style: two front doors with a jump seat behind, a longer tray than a dual cab and a shorter cab.
For tradies who need more tray for gear and less cab for passengers (single-op trades with a mate on the odd job), the extra cab hits the sweet spot. The signage layout does too.

An install crew who know a Hilux extra cab door line is different to a Ranger super cab, and set the vinyl cut accordingly.

Three zones on an extra cab
Three zones, with the long tray carrying most of the brand.
The jump-seat panels between the front doors and the tray are usually left plain unless the design specifically uses them.
Front doors. Business name, logo, phone. Read at parking speed from the side.
Tray or canopy sides. Longer than a dual cab, shorter than a single. The main brand canvas: big logo, one clear service line, phone number sized for three car lengths.
Tailgate. Second reading zone. One message, sized to read from the vehicle behind you at highway speed.
Ute coverage options
Same ute, five levels of coverage. Spend what the job needs.
Least spend → full coverage
1Logos on the doors
Business name and logo on both doors. The cheapest way to look legit on the road.
2Logos spanning both doors
Bigger artwork across the door and rear quarter, so it reads from further back.
3Logos + lower sill wrap
Add a coloured lower-body wrap under the logos. More presence, still part-cost.
4Partial cab wrap
Wrap the panels people actually look at. Most of the impact of a full wrap for less.
5Full wrap
Every panel colour-changed and branded. The whole ute becomes the billboard.

Wrap, graphics or extra cab lettering?
Match the spend to the job, and let the long tray earn its keep.

Full wrap. Doors, tray, canopy, tailgate. Best for brand-first businesses. 2 to 3 day install.
Partial wrap or graphics kit. Doors, tray sides and tailgate in contour-cut vinyl. The most-booked option for work extra cabs, because the long tray does the heavy lifting cheaply. 1 to 2 day install.
Vinyl lettering. Doors and tailgate. Cheapest option, sharp finish, covers compliance for most trades.
Extra cab utes we wrap
The extra cab variants that come through the workshop, each cut to suit its panels.
Each of these has its own model page under vehicle signage for buyers searching by name.
Hilux extra cab. Broad tray sides, straight cab lines. Easy to wrap.
Ranger super cab. More curves through the door and tray sides. Cut lines matter.
D-Max space cab. Forgiving panels, good for full colour designs.
BT-50 freestyle cab. Similar to the Ranger super cab under vinyl.
Triton club cab. Compact canvas, best worked as a partial plus tailgate combo.

Usually no. The jump-seat panels are short and cut by the door line, which chops any typography. Better to keep them plain and let the front doors, tray sides and tailgate carry the brand.
Aftermarket canopies (fibreglass, alloy, plastic) all take vinyl. The install crew adjusts primer and finish work to match the substrate. Send a photo of the canopy make and the ute so the quote is accurate.
A full wrap runs 2 to 3 days in the workshop. Partial wraps and graphics kits are 1 to 2 days. Vinyl lettering is same-day for straightforward jobs. Add 3 to 7 business days upfront for artwork sign-off.
