Single Cab Ute SignageTurn the Tray into the Billboard

Your tray is the longest billboard your business owns, so stop hiding the brand on the doors.

The short version

Single cab ute signage from ProCloud puts your logo, one clear service line and a big phone number on the long tray where every driver behind you actually reads it, designed and printed and installed at our Brendale workshop.

Single-cab utes are the daily driver for solo trades. Plumbers, electricians, arborists, tilers, concreters and mobile mechanics.

Long tray, short cab, and a canopy or toolboxes bolted on more often than not.

The layout that reads well on a single cab is not the one that reads on a dual cab, and the tradies who pull real enquiry off their vinyl know the difference. 30 years of ute wraps out of Brendale.

Two zones on a single cab

Get the cab and the tray talking to each other and the vehicle punches well above its weight at the lights. A single cab has two very different surfaces, and each has one job.

The cab. Short canvas, so the doors and rear window carry the essentials: phone number, business name, and licence or ABN when compliance matters.

The tray or canopy. Long, high and impossible to miss, this is the surface every driver behind you actually reads. Put the brand story here: big logo, one clear service line, and a phone number sized to read from three car lengths back.

What fits a single cab?

Pick the coverage that hits your outcome, not the one that maxes the invoice. Here is how the three options stack up on a single cab.

Send a photo of the ute (both sides, tailgate and canopy if fitted). ProCloud prices the option that gets the outcome, not the one that maxes the invoice.

Full wrap. Whole vehicle vinyl across cab, tray, canopy and tailgate. Best when the brand is the product, like colour-change fleets and showcase vehicles. 2 to 3 day install.

Partial wrap or graphics kit. Doors, tray sides, canopy sides and rear tailgate. The most-booked option for single cab work utes, because the long tray does the visual heavy lifting for a fraction of the spend. 1 to 2 day install.

Vinyl lettering. Cab doors and tailgate. Cheapest option, sharp finish, and it covers compliance for trades that need business name plus phone plus licence.

Common single cab models ProCloud wraps

Hilux SR, Ranger XL, D-Max SX, Triton GLX, BT-50 XT, Navara SL. Cab shapes are similar across the range, and the tray build is where they differ.

Alloy trays, steel trays, gal frames with a fibreglass canopy, plastic tub canopies.

Vinyl behaves differently on each, so the install crew adjusts primer and squeegee technique to match, and the finish holds for years instead of months.

Where we fit single cab ute signage

The workshop is at Unit 10, 193 South Pine Road, Brendale, and every wrap is fitted in-house. From there, install runs cover Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Logan.

Common suburbs on the run sheet for single cab work: Brendale, Strathpine, Chermside, Redcliffe, Caboolture, Kedron, Newstead, Fortitude Valley, Mount Gravatt and Springwood.

If your job sits outside that radius, drop the vehicle in Brendale for the install window.

The trust behind the quote

A cheap job that peels in six months costs more than a proper job that lasts five years, and on a work ute the vehicle is the business.

Single cab ute wraps are usually a solo trader's first big signage spend, so check two things before you commit to any shop.

Local install history. ProCloud has wrapped utes out of the same Brendale workshop for 30 years, and the crew has finished thousands of tradie utes.

Review base. 4.9 stars across 134 Google reviews sits well above the median for signage studios in South East Queensland. Read a handful before you book if it helps.

FAQs

Single cab ute signage starts at around $400 for basic vinyl lettering and runs up to $4,500+ for a full colour-change wrap. Partial wraps and graphics kits usually sit between $1,300 and $2,800. Use the Vehicle Wrap Cost Calculator on the site for a range on your exact spec.

For most single cab utes the tray carries the brand story, because it is the longest continuous surface on the vehicle. The cab carries compliance details (business name, phone, ABN, licence). Both together read best, and cab-only lettering is the cheapest starter option.

Aftermarket canopies (fibreglass, alloy, plastic) all take vinyl, and the install crew adjusts primer and finish to match the substrate. Send a photo of the canopy make and model so the quote is accurate.

A full wrap runs 2 to 3 days in the workshop. Partial wraps and graphics kits are usually 1 to 2 days, and vinyl lettering is same-day for standard jobs. Artwork sign-off adds 3 to 7 business days ahead of the install.

The install is done at the Brendale workshop for quality and vinyl adhesion, in a temperature-controlled space with the right lighting and no wind or dust. We do not install wraps roadside or on driveways.

Yes. Artwork is spec'd once and colour codes are locked in, then every ute in the fleet gets the same layout and finish. The Fleet Signage Estimator gives per-vehicle and total pricing based on fleet size.
